Presentations from the ScreenPro FH Meeting

Presentations from the ScreenPro FH Online Meeting, held in June 2026, are now available. The currently published presentations cover Rare Dyslipidaemias and Lipoprotein(a), with a focus on their diagnosis, cardiovascular risk and treatment options.

Lp(a) at a Glance – Vladimir Blaha
The presentation explains the role of lipoprotein(a) as a genetically determined cardiovascular risk factor. It summarises whom and when to test, how to interpret elevated values, and the current and emerging options for reducing Lp(a)-related cardiovascular risk.

Rare Dyslipidaemias – Martin Satny
The lecture provides a concise overview of selected rare inherited dyslipidaemias, including sitosterolaemia, familial chylomicronaemia syndrome, lysosomal acid lipase deficiency and familial dysbetalipoproteinaemia. It highlights their main clinical features, diagnostic pathways and current treatment options.

The presentations on Lipodystrophy and the Croatian initiative Be a Hunter, Not Prey, which presents a highly successful public awareness campaign focused on familial hypercholesterolaemia, will be added soon.
